Torii is a set consisting of a table, a bench and a stool made of sinusoidal comb plate. Every piece starts off as flat parts which fold together, not unlike origami. The set keeps with the theme of Japanese culture, as paper has a long tradition there and is utilized much in residential applications.
Its shape and color derive from the identically named Torii-gates, which mark the transition from the mundane to the sacred. Whereas red is usually associated with fortune and prosperity. The colored parts can be exchanged and individually designed. Everything, from solid colors to wave patterns, is possible.

In cooperation with SWAP.
